Dreams are inevitable..

So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.-Christopher Reeve.

Every dream needs a period of incubation. During this period, all we need to do is patiently allow the dream to blossom. As we focus our attention and mental energy on the dream, it reveals its potential. We can sense its form and then start believing in its probability.

The moment we can see even one percent probability, our mind gets flooded with ideas to make it manifest. Every dream deserves at least some contemplation. We should never shun anything outrightly.

A dream is like a seed. Let it take roots in your fertile mind and provide it with positive environment…an environment of belief. Water it with passion. Manure it with enthusiasm. All these together form a strong Will to act and accomplish the dream.

God keeps inspiring us to take the right action. The instincts to act may be novel to us. But, we must not doubt them. Old ways of acting are of little use in reaching new horizons. We need to invent new means. We need to create new paths. And then achievement becomes inevitable.

From belief to faith

Faith is the stepping stone to creation…

Faith can connect the dots. Faith can synchronize acausal events. Faith is the breath that gives life to dreams and visions.
Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe. – Saint Augustine

Faith is the Apex in which all beliefs culminate. Belief is the starting point of faith. Because when you believe in something or someone or even yourself, you will get proofs to support your beliefs. Proofs do not just show up. If we wait for proofs to show up to form a belief, we will have to wait till eternity. When we believe, the proofs appear to support and gradually we reach a point of unwavering faith which Kahlil Gibran describes thus:
Faith is a knowledge within the heart, beyond the reach of proof.

Achieve Happily, Not Happiness.

You have everything you need for complete peace and total happiness right now. – Dr. Wayne W. Dyer.

I know. I know. This is hard to digest. But, then what is peace and happiness all about? Doesn’t that mean acknowledgement? Doesn’t that need acceptance?

I do not intend to say that we should not have dreams, desires, goals. We can very well be, as Ben Sweetland puts it: ‘Happily Discontent‘. We may choose to be happy and grateful for whatever we have right now and then act to enhance the joy or even to share the joy. Fulfilment of our dreams and desires can just be the sources or means of expansion of these feelings. “Achieving happily and not happiness.”

The secret key to success in any area of our lives is ‘Joy’. If you take off from this feeling, you will land in the same feeling. If you take off from a feeling of unhappiness, neediness, or desperation, you will land in those feelings. There are no crossroads. But there are tunnels for us to transform at any moment in between the journey and thus redirect landing.

Even if we have started off from a place of need, we can transform the feeling to enthusiasm or exuberance. We can convert the nature of our goal from ambition to expression. Is this why people say, ‘Happy Landing’ when we take a flight? I guess so! Let this Monday be the foundation stone in building not just the week ahead, but the new year soon arriving. God is equally excited!

Kindness Magic

Kindness Magic

Kindness goes a step ahead of fairness. Fairness has a logical premise. Kindness needs no logic. It is just a natural instinct. But, it creates magic. Kindness attunes us with the forces of nature and we experience effortless manifestation of our desires.

To quote Dr. Wayne Dyer: “Whenever there is a choice between ‘being right’ and ‘being kind’, choose kind.” Our ego always needs to be right and prove others wrong. But, our soul desires to be its grandest self…loving, caring, kind and compassionate. The soul is in search of opportunities to demonstrate what it knows itself to be.

The soul always gives us the first instinct to be our grandest selves. But, the ego jumps in giving us numerous arguments to refrain from following the soul’s instinct. We mistakenly think that we made a smart or clever choice. But, in fact, we have missed the chance to exercise the wiser choice. This creates blockages in the path of realization of our own dreams and desires.

But, when we act before we think…yes, you read it right…when we act before we think, that is, before the ego steps in, and we follow the inspiration we take a leap in moving towards accomplishment of our own aspirations.

Actions taken from the domains of love, kindness, compassion dissolve the blockages and we witness real magic!

Love, Joy, Happy Thoughts!
